$100 Gold Peso??

Hi,

I have a 1985 $100 peso.

It looks like gold but I don't have a gold tester. Can anyone tell me if they made a gold $100 Peso in 1985?

If it is a Mexican $100 Peso coin with a bearded gentleman in glasses, then no, it has no gold in it. It has no silver either.

Is it a lot heavier than non-gold coins you have of about the same size/thickness?
